There are several routes that connect Parikia and Naoussa with many other villages like Alyki, Pounta or Chrisi Akti (Golden beach). Piso Livadi (secluded and romantic) This is a small village on the east coast of Paros, easily reachable by bus from Parikia. Naoussa Paros, is the second largest village of the island after the capital Parikia and one of the most famous villages of Paros. Naoussa Paros has retained its traditional aspect, despite the tourist development of the area. Parikia is definately more lively, and note that although Naoussa is served by local buses quite often, Parikia is the bus hub of the island. The central bus stops are located in Parikia and Naoussa. In terms of beaches, Naoussa does not on my opinion have any decent beach. Book your Tour in Paros or explore the island with your own car rental.. Parikia is the hub for the Paros bus system, so that would probably be the best choice for you. If you are looking for a quiet place to chill out then Piso Livadi may work better . However, they probably both lack in seclusion and relaxation. Naoussa Paros: The beautiful picturesque fishing village of Naoussa is located in a huge bay in the northern part of Paros, 10 kilometres east from the capital, Parikia. So in case you plan not to hire a car but you still want to explore around, I would pick Parikia. It is located on the northeastern part of the island, in the Gulf of Naoussa. Round of Paros on a bus or minibus, with a guide or without, full day or half day brings you in contact with the wonderful nature of the island and its many attractions and sights. At the peak of high season prices are â¬50 for a double room, â¬22 for a dorm bed, low season drops to â¬22 and â¬8 respectively.
